About Ryan

A first round draft pick by the New York Mets straight out of high school, Ryan Jaroncyk departed from a promising career in pro baseball to return to one of his earliest passions: creative storytelling.

As a former collegiate football player and professional baseball star, these experiences provided a rich matrix for understanding the human and narrative dimensions of life.

Previously a journalist and editor for an independent voter publication featuring contributors from across the American cultural-political spectrum, Ryan draws upon his personal, athletic and journalistic experiences to imbue his storytelling with authenticity, pathos, drama and real-life grit.

His primary literary influences include luminaries such as J.R.R. Tolkien, Dante Alighieri and George MacDonald, while his cinematic influences include Stanley Kubrick, Tobe Hooper and Ridley Scott.

As a creative producer and screenwriter, Ryan aims to draw in and inspire audiences with stories of raw courage, enduring hope and redemption through works of fantasy, history, sports, and horror.
